Care Requirements
Temperature
Keep between 68°F and 78°F. They tolerate a wide range but do best with stable room temperatures.
Humidity
Provide moderate humidity with a clear moisture gradient. Keep one side of the enclosure moist and the other side drier. Ensure proper ventilation to prevent stagnant air.
Substrate
Use a rich organic soil mix with plenty of leaf litter and decomposing hardwood. Add cork bark for cover and include a calcium source such as cuttlebone.
Diet
Leaf litter should be available at all times. Supplement with vegetables like squash or carrots and occasional protein, such as fish flakes or dried shrimp.
